One of our most frequented flying areas is the Bages area with views on the mountain of Montserrat. It doesn't matter if you already live in Catalonia or if you come to spend a few days, this wonderful mountain is a must see. And, what better perspective than from the air to appreciate its peculiar silhouette sculpted naturally, its spectacular Monestir and its rounded peaks called 'needles' that make up the uniqueness of its mountain range. The culture, nature and spirituality of this landscape make it different from the rest.

After an hour and a quarter flying over the area, having enjoyed a good breakfast with bread and local sausages and having drunk a glass of cava to celebrate the experience, you can complete your morning with a guided tour and a wine tasting at Celler Abadal, one of the most important wineries in the DO Pla de Bages and an essential visit to learn and understand the wine history of the region.

The visit to the winery lasts about 90 minutes. The journey begins with a trip back in time inside the old underground cellar of the Masia from the 12th century, preserved in its original state, to discover the way of life of this territory and its wine history. The visit continues to the Museum of Industry and Transport where you can see the old farm tools such as carriages, old trucks and tools that were used to make their wines. Finally, the tour ends with a visit to the winery where all the wines are currently produced, the barrel room and the wine tourism centre, where there is a tasting with the accompaniment of 3 ABADAL wines.
