The Navarcles Lake
The Navarcles Lake is an artificial reservoir of the Calders River that, surrounded by abundant and varied vegetation, creates a fresh and natural space perfect for a walk with the family.
You can go around the lake following the path that surrounds it, practically without unevenness and suitable for everyone. Following the path you will reach an area with tables to have a picnic and a small climbing wall to have fun with the family.
On the other side of the lake, just after the caravan area, there is the Font de la Cura, a space where you can rest and also has picnic tables and a health circuit.
In addition, during the summer, at the Navarcles Lake Park there is a sports company that offers the option of practicing a wide range of sports and adventure activities in nature in a quiet and pleasant environment such as kayaking or canoeing, climbing, rappelling, zip lines, archery, etc..
Walk through the Parc de l'Agulla
The Parc de l'Agulla is the biggest park in the Bages region, known for the large central lake that stores the water that flows from the Séquia and serves as a reservoir for the homes of the city of Manresa.
Surrounding the artificial lake, the park is the habitat of more than 600 trees of 20 different species, spaces for children's leisure and sports practice, as well as large grassy areas, thus being the green lung of Manresa and the habitat of a great variety of different species of animals, such as ducks and other aquatic birds.
The Parc de l'Agulla is an ideal leisure space for strolling or cycling along the path that surrounds the lake, contemplating breathtaking views of the mountain of Montserrat.
The Sèquia Route
he Séquia is a medieval canal that has allowed the evolution and growth of the city of Manresa and the agricultural development of much of the Pla del Bages. Along the canal there is a greenway of about 25 kilometers and a minimum slope that forms the Route of the Séquia, a walk that can be done on foot or by bicycle and that is suitable for everybody.
During the route you can discover fortifications, temples, farmhouses and natural spaces transformed by water, as well as other elements of cultural, natural and patrimonial interest that will take you into the roots of the territory of the heart of Catalonia.
Apart from the linear route of the Séquia, there are also different circular routes around the canal with different lengths and gradients, so you can choose the one that best suits you: the route of the aqueducts, the route between fields, the water route, the route of the medieval canal between forests, the Viladordis Séquia, etc.
